The Clock77/USB is an established and well-priced radio clock which supplies the exact atomic time. Clock changes from summer to winter time is not necessary anymore.The maximum deviation of the time signal is +/-50ms. Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / XP drivers (server and workstation) are contained in the scope of delivery. QUANCOM radio clock software also runs at multiprocessor engines.


CLOCK77/USB radio clock is basically a 5 meter cable. On the one end of this cable there is the receiver and on the other end there is an USB pin-and-socket connector.


The Clock77 is also available as CLOCK77/ISA - ISA DCF-77 Clock and CLOCK77/PCI - PCI DCF-77 Clock.


The scope of delivery contains CLOCK77/USB, the manual, Windows XP / 2000 / ME / 98SE drivers and a Windows 2000 / XP background program as well as a monitor program to control the signal quality. The time reception always takes place in the background without disturbing the current operation.The receive program is listed as a so-called "NT- service" under Windows 2000 / XP.The time will be actualised even if the user is not logged in, so you only need one QUANCOM Clock77/USB to synchronise your whole network time.

QUANCOM discarded the concept of serial radio clocks and and focusses on PC pin-and-socket connectors and USB radio clock modules respectively.

Due to the construction as an USB module we minimised the detraction of the system performance. Furthermore the deviation of QUANCOM radio clocks is only +/-50 ms. You don't need any licence charges and you are able to get free updates via download which allow you to work with radio clocks under Windows XP even if you bought them in 1993. You can allocate the received atomic time to any of your clients.You can also update the atomic time via network with several workstations in LAN. The needed steps are described in detail in the manual.

The system time is set by the driver if it is necessary because of the deviation. If the comlete clock pulse is received correctly the software will set the exact atomic time and date. Concerning the day to day operations it means that the user doesn't have to consider the the disturbing deviation of the Pc clock. If you installedand connected CLOCK77/USB once you don't need to change the clocks fromThe clock incorporates a highly intelligent algorithm for the dectection of faulty times and the correction of them.

You can distribute the received time easily to other clients in the network.

The new enhanced aerial now gives a larger covered area and has a built in LED for function control. The QUANCOM drivers need very little processing time and save processor resources. You will not detect any essential system impact.
